Nzingha
In 2015, foil fencer Nzingha Prescod became the first African-American woman to win an individual medal at the Senior World Championships. This year, she set her sights on fulfilling her dream to become the first African-American woman to win an individual medal in the history of fencing in the Rio Olympics.
