Women’s Cycling at its Best!

AMGEN’s Women’s Road Race 2016 was a 197.8-mile course. It was a four-stage event which took place in South Lake Tahoe, Folsom, Santa Rosa and Sacramento in California. The race showcased the crème of le crème of women’s cycling.

Kristin Klein, president of the race and executive vice president of AEG Sports notes: “We’re so proud to offer the best women in cycling a platform to showcase their talent to an international audience that continues to expand each year… These athletes are some of the fastest on the planet”.

The race featured six of the top-10 UCI ranked cyclists including Olympic medal-winning top-ranked Emma Johansson.
