In 2002, Alana Nichols went snowboarding in Colorado. She was attempting a back flip when she over-rotated and landed back-first on a rock. The injury paralyzed her from the waist down. She then turned her attention to alpine skiing.

Inspired by the single-fin surfboards from the early 1970s, this original luxurious design has been lovingly created by Saunton-based Ellie Miller: Europe’s only professional female board maker. Ellie worked in creative collaboration with Gilding Artist Danni Bradford. Directed, Produced and edited by Jess Pearson, founder of Shimnix Films, with cinematography provided by Mikey Corker.
